I’m in the very early stages of planning a patchwork jacket…. This could take some time…….
So spurred on by the advice on this lovely forum I thought I’d try some beginner friendly projects to learn the skills I’ll need for my jacket.
I saw a Love Patchwork & Quilting magazine in the supermarket which happened to fall into my trolley. Funny how some things tend to do that…. magazines….chocolate…mince pies….gin...
It’s got quite a few ‘simple’ patterns I’d like to try. The easiest project in there is probably this bag.

I’ve changed it slightly as rather than have one large QAYG piece I made three smaller ones and cut a template shape out of each one. Anyway this is as far as I’ve got…..

I'll do some more tomorrow.
I can see why you lovely lot get 'trapped' in the darkside.... ::bat::
