You can't beat a bit of bodging - ask me how I know
These were very difficult bags, I don't think I'd ever want to make another after doing two of them!
Although I now have my lovely old Husqvarna that would sew them easily...

I've just sewn around the end flap and wondered why the zip was hanging loose.
I confess that I've drank up till now, half a guinness
Can you spot the cockup which caused this? It took me a minute...

It's a very useful looking bag but very complicated. No wonder you had such an a**e on with it!

@Bill
Nobody can ever accuse you of giving up! Well done, it looks good from where I am sitting and I know how hard that 'not so leather' is to sew

As it neared the top of the grade, it went more slowly. However, it still kept saying, "I—think—I—can, I—think—I—can." It reached the top by drawing on bravery and then went on down the grade, congratulating itself by saying, "I thought I could, I thought I could."
