I have chance to buy a 400e at a good price. I know the original owner and it will have been carefully used and well looked after.

I know Brother machines are more sought after but wonder about this one. I’ve no experience of embroidery machines so don’t know if it’s a good one or not.

Anybody any experience of this model?

I had a 350e. It was very good but I sold it to get my Pfaff combi as I didn't really have space for the separate embroidery machine (at least not once the forum had made me realise I needed an overlocker). I think the 400e is probably also obsolete now but if you know it's a good'un why not?

I haven't used that model but I have had the 350e for years and she has been marvelous and no trouble at all. I've just bought the 450e (well, March) and I'm liking this one as well. I've had no problems with either - not counting operator mal function of course  0_0
