I need a new purse and have seen some cork fabric. Has anyone sewn with it, any tips? I am assuming it will be like sewing with vinyl.
It's not easy being this perfekt

It's easy to sew, doesn't stick to itself or the machine foot like vinyl does. I used a slightly longer stitch length than normal and a size 14 needle , but it's probably best not to aim for sharp creases/folds as the cork surface will "crack" over time.  I used cork fabric for a handbag and on DS's suggestion covered the surface with a very light coat of 50:50 PVA/ water - to protect against rain and greasy marks. Seems to have worked, but there again I haven't tested a non-treated version.
'Jill' of many aspects of sewing, "Mistress" of few.
