Well I can think of nicer things to yarn bomb but I admire her work ethic.

WOW!

Jessie
Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

Life is too short for some things.  That is one.  That said, she has done a fantastic job of it!

My thoughts too.  Impressive but why?
Life's too short for ironing.

Why?  Dunno, but time can weigh heavy on the retired.  I'd go for something more practical than a tank-warmer if I was inclined to do lots of crochet, though.

Surely a bus is a much nicer thing to yarn bomb

The #savourwindows folk might not be too impressed, though :D

I'm getting a 'swords into ploughshares' vibe from this so I think it's really great. It's an art installation cleverly feminising and domesticating an instrument of war. Fabulous!
Hope it gets lots of publicity. And, incidentally, where do you get a tank from??  Or did somebody park it on her lawn?

My thoughts too @Tamnymore - it made me think of the famous image of the tank with the flower in its gun.
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

@Ouryve Love the bus but I wonder if they cleared the name with DC Thomson first  ;)

"The People's Friend" @HenriettaMaria? They were the organisers of the group effort.

In Barnsley, @Ouryve ? Wow - DC Thomson is based in my home town, which is a long way north of Barnsley!  I wonder why they chose Barnsley of all places?
