Un Finished Object


This is the UFO contest! Take any partially completed sewing, knitting or craft project and complete it during the contest time.


7 May - 30 June 2023


Please take a photo showing your starting place with the project. Hopefully we can help one another where we got stuck for some reason!
Timeframe: Construction starts now and the items must be completed by 30th June.
All entries need to be uploaded with the template below and at least two photos by 30th June 2023 

Please submit your entries in this thread using this template:

Details to include:

Your User Name and Entry Number  - 1, 2 etc if entering more than one item
What is it and for whom? (if applicable)
Fabric and Pattern/instructions used  - where you had got to and what you did to finish it.
2- 4 photos, one showing the before, one after

Yes @Lachica, just show us the before picture(s) do your alterations and finishing and then show us the after pictures.

Here's my first UFO. I've cut out and kept the pattern pieces for something 6844.

A bit of online searching and I found it was New Look 6844, though I can't currently find the pattern envelope or instructions unfortunately.

Updated to add I've found the instructions and other patterns pieces, though not (yet) the pattern envelope, so have a better chance of making it up!

I have ... one or two ... hmm. 

My denim patchwork jacket hit a problem when I realised that however nice a boxy jacket it might be, I am not a boxy shape.

I also have a jacket on the knitting needles that has been side-lined while I crochet.
