Hi everyone I wanted to introduce myself. I’m fairly new to sewing but have made a few simple projects.
I have a passion for collecting and restoring vintage sewing machines, It all started when I found a vintage singer in my fathers attic and now I have collected 10 vintage and one much more modern machine that I inherited from my mother.
I am hoping to find plenty of ideas and advice for my future sewing projects and machine restoration.

Hi and welcome! Lots of people on here have vintage machines, it's a great place to buy from when a member is selling one. That's how I acquired a 221k - I didn't know I wanted one until I saw it. Looking forward to seeing what you make.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. It’s so lovely to have other sewing enthusiasts to talk with. I think my husband is also thrilled I’ve found this place as he no longer has to feign interest when I start talking about (and to) my machines.

Brenda.  My machines are: Corona, a 1953 Singer 201K-3, Caroline, a 1940 Singer 201K-3, Thirza, 1949 Singer 221K, Azilia, 1957 Singer 201K-MK2 and Vera, a Husqvarna 350 SewEasy about 20 years old. Also Bernina 1150 overlocker and Elna 444 Coverstitcher.
