Key fob for my tote

I have a big tote bag, which has no good place for my keys.  I was going to buy a key fob, until I remembered that A) I sew B)I've always got ribbon and C)my husband always has a stash of carabiner clips like this but smaller.

So I cut a 6" length of ribbon (my favorite- blue, with little green dinosaurs) and folded it over.  I sewed the folded ribbon to the inside of the bag & attached the carabiner clip to it.  Problem solved without spending any extra money.

I’ve done that too @Sara-S . Why do keys always hide themselves?
I found it works, so long as you are disciplined enough to actually attach your keys to the carabiner!

That's a good idea. My keys are on a carabiner keyring which I hook on to my jean's belt loop & then slip into my pocket. Always good to know where your keys are!!
So many beers, so little time.

I made another key fob. This one is made with a solid brass clip & a leather strap.
