vintage zig zag machine

I have a very nice modern janome that does several fancy stiches and of course zig zag. I have some heavy fabric that should be sewn with a zig zag - think sail material from a boat. I don't want to ruin my modern machine so I'm looking to buy a second hand  more robust vintage one - with a powerful motor and does zig zag. Any ideas of what machine would be good?

If you want a really powerful motor you are looking at an industrial machine.

My daughter has a Singer U20 which she bought 35 years ago and still uses regularly in her curtain making business.  Variable width zig-zag but nothing else fancy on it though the motor is a huge beast and the whole thing is a two strong person lift.
Brenda.  My machines are: Corona, a 1953 Singer 201K-3, Caroline, a 1940 Singer 201K-3, Thirza, 1949 Singer 221K, Azilia, 1957 Singer 201K-MK2 and Vera, a Husqvarna 350 SewEasy about 20 years old. Also Bernina 1150 overlocker and Elna 444 Coverstitcher.

In lockdown I gifted my 1970s Frister and Rossman but I reckon that would be suitable. Trawl the charity shops for similar machines.
They were heavy beasts to lift and only had straight stitch or zig zag but they were reliable.
So many beers, so little time.

If you look on the vintage sewing machines U.K. pages on Facebook, you occasionally come across vintage Singer etc. proper Industrial machines for sale.
