Helen Mirren's style

I've just seen the Daily Telegraph article showing Helen Mirren's latest style at age 78.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/fashion/style/dame-helen-mirren-style-du-jour-magazine-fashion-shoot/?li

She is looking fabulous! Coincidentally I have starting growing my hair long again, and plan to let it go silver when the back is grey enough. My hairdresser says it's still pretty mousy at the moment. Maybe I need to look at going for brighter colours, but that would need wearing makeup I think. I love the long black and white coat.

I think she looks terrible and has obviously had work done.

I couldn't read the article (paywall and can't do the flight mode trick on my laptop) but she looks better than I will at 78.

Apart from possible botox between the eyebrows, she looks fairly naturally lumpy and wonky in the pictures I've seen, @Lowena though I bet she has a good dentist!

It was more her style and clothes that I was admiring. I do agree her face does appear to have changed markedly.

I think that is one of the most unflattering pics of her I have seen.

She and I are the same age but do I look as good as her? Don't answer that question - please!

She's elegant and knows how to wear clothes but I think she looks her age.

To be fair they have obviously gone for a specific 'look' for that photo shoot.

Actually I always think she is trying too hard with severe looks and sometimes clothes @Lowena

I love her hair colour but not so keen on it just hanging loose - love sleek updo though and I'm jealous of long hair - I can't grow mine long as it's so fine it just looks like rats. She's wearing some fab outfits - I could see myself in that fuschia cape going to the supermarket - very fetching.
