Quilts from the 12 quilting groups in Dumfries and Galloway alongside quilters from Carlisle to the Highlands and Islands will be exhibited throughout Shambellie House. In addition, there will be a special collection of winning entries to the Shambellie Challenge. Selected 18″ square wall hangings will be on show during the festival celebrating the unique features found at Shambellie House
You will enjoy quilts from throughout Dumfries and Galloway where we have twelve quilt groups. We are also welcoming quilts from other groups, e.g. Argyll and Bute, Carlisle area, Kilbirnie Sew n’ Sews, the Highlands, Glasgow Gathering, and individual items from quilters throughout Scotland.
There will also be the usual extras: Fabric sales, Raffle (£1), tombola, magazines, demonstrations, etc. (Raffle prizes – Double quilt, single quilt, wallhanging, cushion, sewing roll)
