Singer Quantum Help!
« on: October 04, 2023, 22:02:39 PM »
Hello. I have come upon the possession of a Singer Quantum 9920.
The funny thing is the very long and we'll thought out manual does not include information about the error messages.
I have started getting a message on the display of an arrow pointing to the pedal. Does anyone know what this means?
...it was a Hobbit hole, and that meant comfort.

On the 9960 manual  'messages on lcd'   (p52)   it looks like
'release the foot pedal'.  Does that make any sense?

Google for quantum 9920 service manual.
Tried and failed to copy the link for you but it says the same.

Someone asked about this.  The reply was "check continuity". Seems like an electrical  fault in the foot pedal

Thanks - It seems that after using the machine regularly for a night or two, the problems have pretty much dissapeared. I dont know how, but i will take it...

Strangely, this machine is becoming one of my favourites... I was going to sell it, but i might just keep it.
