I've managed to send my embroidered Christmas cards without taking a photo of them 
I'll have to ask them so send a photo to me.

These are the few things I've done so far. The big star will be sewn together & popped on top of the tree. I made 10 of the cards but have posted them. I also forgot to take pics of the cards I made for family. I may make some more coasters and baubles but will see how I feel.

Cousette Catherinette blouse. The fabric, also by Cousette is a nightmare fancy cotton muslin with a green and black chambray style weave. The black stripes are quite bulky and soft and, though it doesn't show up well in the main photo, the copper coloured stripes are a metallic thread. The pretty lacquered buttons were a bargain find at my local indoor market.


The fabric is too delicate for everyday wear but I felt it was suitably festive and I shall be wearing it with my best black joggers while cooking and eating our Christmas lunch.

@Ouryve that has turned out absolutely wonderful!   Wasn’t sure if I would like it when you started.  But it is great.  Of course if it is muslin it would be a PITA to deal with.

Thanks, @Ohsewsimple - the bottom hem went without a hitch - just 5 passes of the machine for various stages of stitching, easing and folding and a lot of work with the iron. My first attempt at the sleeve hems was horrific. I ended up cutting them off and doing them in one pass with no stay stitching (and a freshly cut edge rather than the frayed one I'd been dealing with. They've stretched a little but hang so much better.

The sleeve hems are on the bias aren’t they?  So I’d expect some stretching unless stay stitched. 
I can see it now but didn’t when I first looked!

Having learnt my lesson about this fabric and tension from the neckline, I knocked it down much further for my first attempt at the sleeve hems and managed to stretch them further, while stitching, than doing it all in one fell swoop. It was too fiddly to ease in the correct amount, which is why I went for a minimal handling approach the second time.
