Crocheted yarmulke

Crocheted yarmulke

I had some silk yarn left from another project, so I used it to crochet a yarmulke for myself. (In more traditional circles, they are only worn by men., but I am not so traditional.). It is currently being blocked on a styrofoam wig form.  Of course there are pins in it, to hold it in place.

Whenever I see it with the pins in it, I keep thinking it looks like a nice Jewish Martian.

It's lovely, @Sara-S   I really must give crocheting a try.

I'm glad you mentioned the pins.  I was wondering  :)
Life's too short for ironing.

Lovely @Sara-S . As silk is slippery, I presume you will need a couple of hairpins to keep it in place.

Yes, though I always use a couple of pins to keep a yarmulke on, as do most who wear them. (I have no idea what bald guys do.)

Maybe they use that tape for keeping strapless dresses in place...  :o

Beautiful yarmulke.    :D
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.
