Which Butttons?

Which Butttons?

I've been making this shirt for myself out of different Christmas themed cotton prints.
Buttonholes are next but I can't quite decide which buttons to go for between the green and the gold (not red as not enough of a suitable size/colour).

Here's the shirt

Button options

Gold, striped dome, flat and mini knots

Green with shine or matt (dont think this second one works).

Small dark green two hole or green pearlescent.

Gosh so many options!  Going down the pics I like the middle gold one and the second green one.

Any of the gold ones. Lovely shirt! I don't like Christmas jumpers but this is brilliant.

I like the gold ones but especially the middle one.
The top green one of the bottom picture as well. But really any of them would be fine!!

I prefer the smaller dark green button but I would have a look at doing red gold and green buttons, if you have enough of the same size buttons.

I'd be doing a mix of colours, it would suit the style with it's mix of fabrics.

I like the larger domed gold ones.  :)

I like the big gold ones, too. It's not like there is anything subtle about the shirt so understated buttons will not do!

I'm not a fan of 'bling' so I'd say the dark green ones.

Thank you all for your opinions. As far as I can tell at least one person likes each option - lol.

A couple of thoughts as I read through the comments. I made a decision to only use ivory coloured thread. Where this is used as a topstitch on the red or green it gives quite a casual look, as does the multi fabric.

The suggestion to use a mixture of buttons to echo the mixture of fabrics did appeal, so I'm going to hunt through the bags of odd buttons and see if I can find enough of the same size, but in different colours.....

I have hundreds, (probably thousands?) of buttons (2 drawers full) but not always what I'm looking for, a bit of a trawl through the odd buttons in the different colours and we have.....
