Its something on Instagram (which I don't do) but gets mentioned on lots of Sewing You Tube channels.
Basically you pick 9 projects you want to do over the coming year and then see if you manage them.

Ah thank you @SewRuthieSews i could probably manage nine projects but they wouldn’t all be clothes or sewing 🙃

It would be good if we could include different crafts, @Cazlyn , @SewRuthieSews .  I might even make one project a sewn garment

@Diane  Similar but simpler. It's only 9 items (not 24), and you do them at whatever rate across the year when it suits you.

I have to say I found WIPGO a bit much last year and didn't finish mine. But maybe I picked ridiculously hard projects for myself.

Some of the make nine people pick nine specific patterns, others have chosen 9 fabrics from their stash to use. Others have been more generic - a button front shirt, a dress etc

@Celia sure :-) include knitting, jewellery, beading, crochet, calligraphy, silk paining and etc etc whatever you like

This year I was thinking of doing some sort of make nine but based around choosing nine techniques to learn / practice.

Here’s my Nine.

Apply bias binding to a curve.
(Fibre Mood Molly Jacket. I must finish this flipping jacket!   )

Sew a notch collar (Jacket or coat)

Sew a camp collar (Shirt or shirt dress)

Fit trousers.

Sew a fly front. (jeans)

Cut out stretch fabric (t-shirts, bathing costume)

Sew elastic onto a garment (bathing costume)

Hem knitted fabric (tops)

Cut out and sew Charmeuse (slinky pair of PJs)

Don't know how many I'll get through but they're on my list!

I’m also going to make some relaxed fitting shirts/blouses (This bit doesn’t fit into my make nine!  )

I have posted it in the diary section. Not made a start on it yet though 

I heard about it via YouTube’s sewing bunny. Thought it would be a fun thing to do.

So far my plans are:
Jeans
Sweatshirt
Jalie city coat (Just discovered my day to day wear one was made in 2016!!)
Ooh look, squirrel.......
And another 5 squirrels
