Has anyone used Maraflex thread and, if so, would they recommend it?

I haven't used it as the colours on the reel are pretty bright and quite limited. It strikes me as being most suited to very stretchy fabric for sports and swim wear.

&
@BrendaP
Thank you both for the information and I agree the colours aren’t that subtle so I don’t think I will bother to try it.

I used it in a sewalong as recommended by the tutor. My Janome 230dc absolutely hated it!
I’ve changed machine now but haven’t used it on the upgraded machine.

The downloadable brochure shows 80 colours, so surely some must be OK. Perhaps they use the bright ones in samples so people can see the stitching.

Has anyone tried this,
https://poundfabrics.co.uk/products/gutermann-maraflex-elastic-stretch-thread-150m
. I haven’t seen it before but they did bring out something similar for beading and it was very good.

Now that looks useful, no unpicking the dreaded lightening bolt stitch.

I saw the title and wondered why someone would start a new thread called "new thread" - then I saw it was in "haberdashery" and realised - doh!!

That sounds great, if it works. I wonder how well it washes.
