I've got 6 meters of white what I think is linen, it may be a cotton linen mix.I've done the burn test and there's no poly in it, just a white ash. It is medium weight and has a bit of drape.
£5 a meter plus postage.

Burn test? To tell if there's man made fibre mixed in? How do you do that please?

Just take a very small piece of fabric and set it alight. Depending on the results, you will know the type of fabric you have. Natural fibres tend to burn to ash, synthetics will leave hard beads.

I looked it up and found this.

Scroll down a wee bit till you come to a table and it gives results for loads of different fabrics.
