Well done! Lovely to get a bargain, the thing with charity shop finds is that they are unexpected - and all the better for that!
Enjoy Mo!

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!
, but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

Excellent books too. Although they don't include knits, lots of the styling is useful for dance dresses. I've been looking for a different construction of neck cowl for the back of a dress to the usual 'grown-on' design and there it was in 'More Dress Pattern Designing'.

Hopefully back more regularly! Ballroom sewing may be permanently paused but bag making is the current focus.

Lovely! I like a nice book bargain
more books to keep an eye out for! At least they don’t go out of date unlike my technical books.

@Mocarroll
: I have a softback edition of
which I bought from someone on the 'old place'. However, I can't get my head around the maths.

I have her Dress Pattern Designing (metric edition) picked up from the local second hand bookshop a few years ago. I occasionally dip into it to get ideas for tweeking a pattern.
