Hmmm...
@wrenkins
you obviously have a better time at NY than I have ever done - I've never kissed anyone ( or been kissed ) even though we always stay up and have been married for 48yrs

Here it is. It's still on the pins as I am going to give it a border (but happily it doesn't need quilting or binding!). When I lay it out, DD, who claimed the last blanket I knitted, asked, "Am I going to have this one as well?"

Oh gosh, that's gorgeous. I didn't really realise how effective it would look ( and such neat knitting too
) I'm not surprised it's been claimed already and it'll be great to have a quilt to compare it too.

A chimney sweep? Never heard that before
@Greybird
. I wouldn't kiss mine if he was the last one left. I'll just stay indoors and kiss my own dirty midden thank you.

Thanks, all. I was worried it would be too long and narrow, but it's wider than I thought.
Now to sew the ends in. That'll take the rest of the year.

It's fabulous. And look how hot it got there about August/Septemer time.
I do like this idea. I'm going to put it on my list of potentials.

It's fabulous! It seems ages since I said 'let's hope it's not all blue', and then look what happened!

It's a wonderful reminder of the year.
I can also see when the 'Beast from the East' arrived. Hope it's not like that again this year or next week will be white
