I see how they look together when all 12 are finished, but I thought if I used the same fabrics it would give me the option.

They look so good together!
I bought fabric to do this, but haven't used it.
I'm planning to put some in a Gypsy Wife's style quilt instead.

The tutorial is great, and everybody's blocks are beautiful.
One of these days I might have enough time available to do a huge catch-up. That's my plan
but whether it'll come to fruition is another matter.

I cut this out a while ago and today got round to sewing the bits together. Both boys think it's really cool and helped decide on the arrangement.
I swapped the light and dark over due to the size of the scraps I had.
