It's very nice made up. A friend has made it several times and each version and variation she's done looks unique. It's a 'go to' pattern for her and it's flattering.
I helped her with the pattern fitting (the main adjustments for her were to adjust for height (5'2" short waisted) & bust shaping (Dcup size 14/16) and to remove some of the fullness in the skirt section and take some of the curve off the skirt/band shaping - her personal preference rather than excessive volume)

- It's worth the effort to make the upper bodice of this dress fit really well.
- the deep double band at the bottom of the dress is key for the shaping of this dress and also has a job to do with weighting down the skirt above it.
