I'm now up to date with both of the blocks.
January...
and February...
I outlined my leaves using my 'towelling stitch'.
I've had my little old Bernina for over 20 years, and last year I decided to have a look at the special stitches I can do on it...I know...I don't rush myself, do I?
(When I bought it, all I needed it to do was straight stitch, a zig zag, and a nice buttonhole. The only other stitch I've ever used has been the blind hem for when I do curtains.)
I now have a little bit of fabric with samples of the stitches. Number 11 - Towelling, is like a blanket stitch...so that's what I've used. Not sure I'd have had the patience for satin stitch...toooo curvy.
Sandra.
