I have these.

I love the colours, but have no inspiration whatsoever. What springs to mind for you, and what other colours, if any, would you add? Would you do something with a dark background?

My first thought was Trip Around the World but Manuela got there first.

French braid could be interesting, and I like the first of Manuela's pictures too (what
is
that called? It's on the tip of my tongue). Trip Around the World would work well, but I already have three quilts in that pattern (I got carried away when I first tried strip piecing!)
Edited to add Fence Rail!! It's called Fence Rail.

Rail Fence.
I'd probably do a collection of star blocks.

Haha - thanks
@fajita
- I was close!
I'm wondering about something like this, with a navy background:
but I'm not sure whether the pastels would be a bit too washed out. I think I'll have to find some navy and take some photos of them together.
I'd quite like to do it as EPP, so I can work on it in front of the TV in the evenings.

Love the stars but, IMHO, the pastels would be overpowered by the navy. I agree with
@Manuela
- let the pastels be the star of the show. I'd just use lots of white (and I
never
use white) but maybe leave out the pale green and brown at the bottom of your stack.

Looooving the stars (but then what not to love?) but Pastels (for me at least) are tricky!
I agree the Navy
might
overpower them but you could try a soft grey?
Looking forward to seeing the end result!

Word of warning...I was looking at a quilt yesterday that looked as though it was put together with Gaffer tape. Choose your grey wiiiiisely!

Thats right, Grey fabric is very hit and miss over here. The Americans seem to have lovely greys but over here ...
Maybe its the quality of the light???
But there are some nice greys ... Think Dove grey

That looks beige on my screen
Let the pastels be the star. I did a lovely baby quilt from a Lintott pattern using pastels and white. It turned out beautifully

I'm not keen on grey and I certainly have absolutely no confidence in my ability to choose a grey that wouldn't look like a battleship... I'd have to shift it to blue-grey I think.
I love green-grey, but not with these colours I don't think.
I realised when I bought these that while I love the rainbow pastels, I would have trouble figuring out what to do with them.
Now I've started thinking that I need the bright colours to make the star quilt... oh dear...
