OK me first.

I would love either, a postcard would go on my happy beam.

A mug rug would be USED. If something has a purpose I would always use it for more than decoration.

My lovely cushion from Imi sits on my sewing chair and is used (carefully) and enjoyed everyday.

Whoever gets my name, make what gives you joy to sew.

Whoever’s name I get, good luck.

I have looked at stitched postcards and found many sites where they do swaps and trades, it seems quite a big thing!  I have never made one but fancy having a go

I don't mind either mug rug or postcard - but some may not be 'into' postcards  :)
Willing but not always able :)

I'm already half-way through mine, so that might make it difficult. :[

I don't have a preference. Either one would find a suitable home here.

I would prefer a mug rug, because our space of collecting postcard is limited. ;)

If I have this right, we're not being given the name of our swappee until 1st March? By then it'll be too late to ask what they prefer as some of us will have finished making "it". I'm not trying to make trouble - I just struggle with the"rules" being changed after the swap has started.

(I'll get back in my cupboard now or you can throw me off the forum.)

You're not being the least bit troublesome @Kenora. My decision for not doing this swap was based solely on my not wanting a sewn postcard. What even is one, why would I want one, what would I do with one....?  :S

I was also thinking that a postcard would easily convert to a mug rug  :)

@wrenkins  a MugRug for you it is then ...

The 'rules' are a bit like 'The Pirates Code' in that they are more guidelines !!! and I allocate you your partners in the first week of March ....
A) to allow peeps a bit of extra 'shall I join in'? time and
B) to prevent the early doors brigade from posting too early ....

I think is nice if we all receive them around the same time!

Sorry if it confuses you x

Ok. I'm in and I'd prefer a mug rug (but will love anything anyone chooses to make for me).  :) I didn't think I'd use my Autumn ones and have used them to death.  :loveit:

I thought I didn't mind, but then I thought how nice it would be to have a TSP mug rug on the table alongside me instead of this weird oakleaf shaped bit of wood that my drink is currently sitting on.

Maybe those that want to make postcards could try to make them dual purpose?
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.
