I like that.
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

I could show you the back if you promise not to comment about the ends.
The pattern is from the backing fabric

@Iminei  Iknow all that but if your machine does a cut and you find you have extremely short ends where possible i darn them in. but sometimes the ends are so short I can't even thread a needle

Thanks anyway
And I know I shouldn't rely on the snip off the machine, but I do!

Dont auto cut then Bjay ...

When you come to the end of your stitching, just raise the needle and presser foot, pull out the block and cut the threads longer.. Thats what I do.

@Bjay  I don't have auto cut ( :loveit:) but if when I cut mine too short it drives me nuts. Not the lil threads, my stupidity.  :headbang:
I've now decided that I need one of these. My mum always used them for hand sewing because of her eyesight but they would work for wee teeny ends too.

You mean the way I learnt before I had a machine with some gizmo's - I know that - after yesterday I've learnt my lesson :|  :D

I use those a lot @wrenkins  .... but even they can be a problem if the threads are shorter than the needle ... the way to do it is to insert the needle (only a short distance as you still need to tug the threads through) and then thread the threads on to it.

Replacement for March's block.  It's only 12" so will need a border.

Thanks, both.

Yours is lovely, @wrenkins .  No need to redo.  It doesn't stand out like a sore thumb like mine did.  I lay them all out and DD asked, "Why is that one grey while all the others are white?"  Good question.  Why was that?
