When I make my embroidered coasters I have the bump underneath, stabilizer on top, then the fabric, a fairly open linen type, and then the soluble on top to prevent the stitches sinking in to the fabric.
The soluble never lies totally flat, always has some wrinkles in it. I cant pull it once hooped as it tears ...but this doesnt seem to affect the stitchout.... Is this normal?
After embroidering I tear the majority of the soluble away and then rinse/dip the embroidery, which is just fabric, yet to be finished, into water to get rid of the remains of the soluble but the fabric feels hard after this
Am I getting rid of the stabilser correctly?
Is there a better way of doing this?
Should the fabric feel different after using soluble?
